What we hold

• Your name, so we know who we are dealing with when money is involved.
• Your email address, because it is how you sign in.
• Your mobile number, so we can match a mobile money payment to your account. We do not send marketing to it.
• The videos you send us and the clips we make, so we can produce them and so you can download them.
• Your credit history: every top-up and every job. This record cannot be edited or deleted, by us or by anyone, because it is the only proof of what you paid for.
• Payment references you send us when you top up.

What we do not hold

We never see or store your card details, your mobile money PIN, or your MoMo balance. There is no payment company in the middle and no card form anywhere on this site. If a page ever asks you for a PIN, it is not us.

Who else sees it

• Supabase holds your account and your credit history, on servers in London.
• Cloudflare stores your clips.
• Modal runs the machines that download and process your video.
• Anthropic receives the text of what is said in your video when we use it to choose which moments to clip. It is not used to train anything.

Nobody else. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and there are no advertising trackers on this site.

How long we keep things

Your source video is deleted once your clips are made. Your clips stay until you delete them or close your account. Your credit history is kept for as long as the account exists, because it is a financial record.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete your account and everything in it. Under Ghana’s Data Protection Act you can also object to how we use it.

The one thing we cannot delete on request is your credit history while the account is open, because a financial record that can be edited is not a record. Close the account and it goes with it.

Keeping it safe

Your clips are only reachable through a link that expires, minted after we have checked the clip is yours. The database enforces who can see what at the row level, so a mistake in the website cannot show you somebody else’s account.

Children

Ohemaa.ai is not for children, and we do not knowingly hold data about anyone under 18.

Changes

We will update this page when things change and the date at the top will change with it.
